Due to its good hinterland connections and shortest sea distances to Scandinavia, Russia and Baltic States, the Mukran Port is an important hub for international passenger and freight traffic.
The Mukran Port provides ideal mooring conditions for big cruise liners. The berths Nr. 6 and 8/9 with the maximum water depth of 10,5 m and maximum total quay length of 365 m make the port accessible without obligation for pilot services and channel navigation.
Sea Terminal Sassnitz
The Sea Terminal Sassnitz is a multipurpose terminal in Mukran Port. The competent port operator handles a diverse range of cargoes including bulk cargo, general cargo, heavy goods, project loads and containers. Storage logistics and organizing complete transport chains are also a part of the portfolio.

The newly built offshore Terminal South has proven its functionality during installation of the offshore wind farm "EnBW Baltic 2".
With the construction of a completely new port area for maintenance and operation of offshore wind farms, the Mukran Port has been developing from pure installation port to the location with the widest possible range services for a period of more than 25 years!
